Ingram Micro + Telstra Logos

As advertised, Ingram Micro has issued a voluntary safety recall of AC power adaptors for the main telephone base unit, for the following series of Telstra branded cordless telephones, sold on or after the 1st of July 2006. The affected AC power adaptors are identifiable by the stamped code located on the underside of the adaptor as per the diagram below.

The affected series of telephones are:

  • Telstra easytouch Series
  • Telstra edge Series
  • Telstra F5100 SMS
  • Telstra F5150 SMS

If you have purchased one of the above series of telephones on or after 1st of July 2006, please do the following:

  1. Switch off the power at the power point and disconnect the AC power adaptor from the mains power point.
  2. Check the stamped code or TE number as shown on the diagram. If your AC power adaptor code is either TE0606 or TE0706, then please click on the Register button below and complete the form.

If your AC power adaptor code is not TE0606 or TE0706, then your unit is not affected by this recall and no further action is required. Telstra cordless rental phones including the CR2000 are also not affected by this recall
